Bolting systems and services for the energy sector
At Plarad, “the optimal solution” means not only developing and manufacturing standard bolting tools but also products tailored to each customer. Reliable Plarad tools are now used worldwide — in power plants and in turbine manufacturing.
Torque or tensioning tools are no problem for Plarad: it makes both types, exclusively in Germany, and supplies them worldwide. Hydraulic torque wrenches are Plarad’s tailored solution, especially for demanding bolted joints and work in confined spaces.
Recommendations from the manufacturer Plarad, complemented by equipment from other brands in our catalogue.
Thanks to its speed, accuracy, ergonomics and safety, this series of hydraulic torque wrenches is the benchmark for almost all bolting tasks.
A quick-release latch allows simple, fast socket changes. The reaction arm can be quickly rotated 360° in fine angular steps, and a safety pin reliably prevents unintended release.

Thanks to its low-profile design, the FSX wrench is very versatile and excels in confined and hard-to-reach spaces. The fine-tooth ratchet ensures high torque accuracy. Plarad also makes it in an ATEX version (II 2 G ck II B T4) for zone 1G.

STK with hexagon cassette for heads from 19 to 230 mm and STQ with square drive from 3/4″ to 2 1/2″ — with a fine-tooth ratchet system for accurate torque.
Hand torque multipliers for bolting without a power supply, where a power pack or cable is not available.

Impact sockets in cold-forged alloy steel, from 1/4″ to 3 1/2″ for bolts from M10 to M150 — also for hydraulic and pneumatic torque wrenches.
Sets of pump, cylinder, valve, hose and gauge for working pressures up to 700 bar — for lifting, pressing and aligning heavy parts.

For smaller bolted joints and checking the applied torque.
