SmartBolts DTI smart bolts
SmartBolts have a built-in indicator that shows bolt tension during tightening: it gradually darkens from light red to black when the bolt is correctly preloaded.
The technology measures bolt elongation and converts it into a visual display. It shows tension in real time, the bolts are reusable, and the indicator clearly shows any loss of tension.
DTI SmartBolts have the same shape and function as standard bolts: replace a standard bolt with a SmartBolt and tighten until the indicator turns black.
